Bio

Anna Goodwin is an interdisciplinary artist currently living and working in Albany, New York. Her work is figurative and narrative, and investigates cultural obsessions through drawing, video, and print media. She is a recent graduate of Skidmore College, receiving a B.S. in studio art with a focus in printmaking in 2024. Her interests in art and life include rockstars, chimpanzees, gymnasts, single-celled organisms, the future, the past, the bitter and the sweet!

Assisting with exhibition planning, installation, gallery maintenance, event programming and marketing.

Public Programming Intern – Tang Museum, Skidmore College 2023 - 2024

Setting up for live events such as concerts, poetry readings, film screenings, workshops, and lectures, researching for upcoming exhibitions and visiting artists, writing and editing program notes for events.

Art Educator – Arts Center of the Capital Region, Troy, NY 2023

Planned and taught two weeks of classes for 9–12-year-old students; one class in introductory painting and one in public art which culminated in two collaborative murals.

Gallery Assistant - Schick Gallery, Skidmore College 2021-2023

Greeted gallery guests and provided information on the current exhibition, assisted with installation and deinstallation, provided curatorial input, organized and promoted live music events in the gallery.
